Got questions?
When I first started blogging in 2004, the site was a Catholic Q and A. In the comments section below my posts, people asked questions about different parts of the Catholic faith. Unfortunately, it also included much spam and even inappropriate comments. It was because of the latter that I eventually took a break from blogging. I’m happy to be doing this again, but as you probably noticed, comments are closed here. You are invited to email me (gshaffer@olvp.org) with comments and questions.
I would like to address your questions in my posts. Others probably have the same questions as you so it will help more than just you if you ask. We have all Catholic questions but might struggle with where to start. So, I can give you some examples to get the wheels rolling on our Q and A. But, please email me your own q’s.
How do we know that God exists?
Do we take the story of creation literally?
How can we believe in an all-loving God when there is so much evil and suffering in the world?
Did Jesus have brothers and sisters?
Why do we have to go to Mass every Sunday?
Do only Catholics go to Heaven?
What is a mortal sin?
Why don’t Catholic priests marry?
Do you (Fr Greg) get lonely as a priest?
What are the names of your baby sharks? (Ok, not much of a discussion there. And, I would probably just invite you and your family to see the sharks in the rectory).
